It's Patriots' Day/Marathon Monday here in Massachusetts and here are the highlights: - Boston Marathon. Started at 10:00 AM in Hopkinton, ending (obviously) in Boston, in front of the public library. - Red Sox vs. Orioles. Starts at 11:00. Sox have won 3 games so far in this series. I'm cheering hard for the sweep. - Free sweet cream lattes from our friends at Cold Stone Creamery. - Day off for me and half day for BKDM. Patriots' Day celebrates the battle at Lexington and Concord that started the American Revolution. I refer to it as "shot heard round the world day." And with that, I leave you with this.

First game of the season at Fenway. Go Sox.
Married for a day. We picked up the rings and will wear them tonight at Fenway so as not to risk losing them. We won't wear them again until 7/8/9, our wedding day..... and then we'll never take them off.

This packet of tomato seeds from PBS is the best swag gift ever. I love Curious George, I love tomatoes and I love planting things in my window box.
